Please Remain Seated! - Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 6, 2026

1. SCOPE AND DEVELOPER

This Privacy Policy describes the privacy practices of the official iOS game "Please Remain Seated!". In this Policy, "Developer", "we", and "us" mean the developer identified as the provider or seller on the Game's official Apple App Store listing. "Game", "app", "program", and "software" mean the version submitted by that Developer for distribution through Apple's App Store, including updates submitted by that Developer.

This Policy does not describe independently modified, tampered-with, repackaged, counterfeit, or unofficial versions, or code or services added by others without the Developer's authorization. It does not promise how such third-party versions behave.

2. GAMEPLAY AND DATA COLLECTION

The Game is an offline, single-player game. It does not require an account and does not include online multiplayer or in-game social sharing.

3. OPTIONAL PHOTOS AND SCREENSHOTS

Passenger images (if enabled in the Game): If you choose to add a photo, the Game opens Apple's system photo picker. This lets you choose an image. The Game receives the image you select, makes a local copy, and reduces its size where needed. The copy and your display/cropping choices are stored in the Game's local data and used to display a custom passenger. The original image in Photos is not changed. The stored copy can include more of the image than the cropped passenger face displayed on screen.

Gameplay screenshots: If you choose to save a screenshot, the Game asks Apple's Photos service to add that gameplay image to your Photos library. This may require permission to add photos. A screenshot can include any custom passenger photos visible in the captured scene.

Both features are optional. You can cancel image selection or decline screenshot-saving permission and continue playing. Select only images you have the right and any necessary permission to use, including permission from people depicted where required.

4. LOCAL STORAGE, RETENTION, AND REMOVAL

The Game stores progress, settings, cabin layouts, saved sessions, and imported passenger images locally. Device tilt readings (if enabled) used for gameplay are processed on the device and are not sent to the Developer.

Imported images remain in the Game's local storage until removed or until the app's data is deleted. Use the passenger customization controls to remove an image or all listed images; those controls delete the Game-owned image copies and their customization entries. They do not delete originals in Photos. Resetting gameplay progress is not the same as deleting imported image files: the current progress-reset feature does not remove those files, and they may appear again when customization is reopened.

Deleting the app using iOS's Delete App function removes its local app data under iOS's normal behavior. Offloading the app can retain its documents and data. Screenshots and original photos in Photos must be managed separately in Photos, including Recently Deleted where applicable. Revoking Photos permission does not itself delete copies already imported or screenshots already saved. You can manage screenshot-saving permission in iOS Settings; system photo-picker selection does not require broad photo-library permission.

5. APPLE AND OTHER SERVICES

Apple provides app distribution, the system photo picker, Photos permissions, and screenshot saving. Depending on your settings, Apple or your chosen backup provider may back up app data, download a selected image stored in iCloud Photos, or synchronize saved screenshots. Apple may separately process purchase, usage, or diagnostic information and make platform reports available to developers under its terms and your settings. These platform activities are separate from the Game's own data transmission behavior; this Policy does not promise that no information ever leaves your device through the operating system or other services.

6. SECURITY AND YOUR RIGHTS

Local data relies on the security of your device and operating system. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of a compromised device, unofficial software, or services outside our control.

7. CHANGES

We may update this Policy when the official Game or its privacy practices change. The effective date identifies this version. Updated text will be made available in the Game and/or on its official privacy-policy page.
